Mods & Add ons for PvP
If you are a PvP player and you are focused on the PvP content of the game you should definitely get several add-ons to help you play better. These are the best PvP mods & add-ons for PvPers
Gladius - when you enter arena it will display enemy health bars, mana, cast bars and trinket cool downs. It will show you the spec and class of your enemy in the chat box and announce it, allowing even players without gladius to see it. This add on is also great for switching to another target quickly and also will allow you to intrupt and crowed control other targets easily and affectively, it also shows you when players use there trickets.
Spellalerter Simple yet very important add-on that will inform you of enemy players casts, i.e. if a opposing team mage is casting polymorph the add-on will put a warning on your screen saying (name) is casting polymorph at (name of his target). You can adjust it to show warnings for any spell in game.
Party Ability bars Standard arena add-on that will track important offensive or defensive cool downs of your team players, such as divine shield, ice block, ice trap or heroism. Very important for healers in 3v3 or 5v5 arena.
PvE add-ons Allot of these add-ons players will already have but it's still important that you check to see if you have them.
Deadly boss mods This add-on is a number one must add-on for all raiders, it will give you warnings when a boss is about to use or has already used an ability that might affect you, it will give you timers on boss abilities, mark players that are affected by boss abilities and so on.
Grid This is great for healers it will show you how and what your party members are getting affected by, also if they are in need of healing and will also show you if they are going to be recieveing a heal soon(like another healer casting a heal so is saves you on over healing). This is a simple but super important healing mod. Decent alternative is Healbot.
Omen This is your number one tanking addon and also great for dps that lose control, if your a dps you need to make sure your aggro is under the tank and if your a tank or course you want to be generating allot of threat. It will notify you when you are close to over-agroing.
Recount This is a Dps best friend it allows you to show and see how much you beat the rest of the dps by in each fight, it will also show dispels and healing meters.
General use add-ons There is a high variety of general purpose add-ons, some of them are class based, some are not.
Power auras Add-on that will visualize your procs, cooldowns, buff gains or combat points. This is great for all classes.
Auctioneer This add on allows you to buy and sell in buck and set different margins, along with setting prices for undercutting th elowest price by 1%, this saves you checking prices.
TukUI This addon is purely for looks and it will allow you to chage the wow interface. Very good and very popular.
